1. The short version
This site sets one cookie without asking, because it is the cookie that remembers what you decided about the others. Nothing else is set unless you turn it on.
2. What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. This policy also covers anything equivalent that stores or reads information on your device, such as local storage, because § 89(3) of the Czech Electronic Communications Act and the ePrivacy Directive treat them the same way.
3. Categories
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work and to honour your choices. These do not need consent, and cannot be switched off.
Preferences
Remember choices you make, such as the display language, so you do not have to set them again. Optional.
Analytics
Aggregate statistics about which pages are read, so we can write better ones. Optional, and off until you say otherwise.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not embed third-party marketing pixels.

5. Changing or withdrawing consent
Open at any time, from here or from the foot of any page, and change any switch. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as consenting. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, which will reset your choice and cause the notice to appear again.
6. Server logs are not cookies
Our hosting infrastructure records technical log data for every request, including your IP address. That happens at the network level, it is not a cookie, and it is not something consent can switch off, because a server cannot answer a request without an address to answer to. It is described in section 2 of the privacy policy.
