BIM modelling and coordination
Discipline models, federation and clash resolution run to ISO 19650.
Coordination fails quietly. Clashes get detected, exported to a report, mailed to someone, and never closed — so the same collision appears in the next federation cycle with a new number. The problem is rarely the clash detection. It is that nothing tracks the issue to closure against the object that caused it.
We run federation and coordination to ISO 19650, with BCF issues carried through to resolution rather than to a status report. Each cycle starts from what the last one actually closed.
Model health is checked at every milestone, not audited once at handover when it is too late and too expensive to fix. That is the difference between a coordination process and a coordination meeting.
Where the work actually happens
- Discipline model production
- Model federation and project setup
- Clash detection and resolution cycles
- BCF issue management, tracked to closure
- ISO 19650 information management
- Milestone QA and model health checks
Start with the audit.
It costs little, it takes two sessions, and it tells you which of these five is actually worth buying first.
